These are scenarios where the player characters are invited to join in on a plot that will lead to either discovery, character growth, wacky hijinks, or any number of interesting things. Characters who join in on such a scenario will be rewarded IC for their participation at the end of the scenario and may end up helping shape Borasco in a large way, or they may receive something that they otherwise would not. They will not be something that happens all that often, but when they do, they are absolutely not manditory- unless your characters are returning from their first death.
